​ Smith Group Golf Club was started by Al Smith and friends at Al Smith's Pub in the 1970s.  Tom LeClaire joined the club and ran it from the late 80s until he passed in November 2015.  Al Smith left us on September 4, 2017.

We are a "life experienced" group of golfers who play every Thursday on courses in Tucson, Green Valley, and Benson,  Arizona.  The Arizona summer heat doesn't stop us, but we love to see our winter visitors return in the fall.  All you need to join us is a sense of humor and an established handicap.
